Queen's College ( QC) is the first ranked secondary school in Georgetown, Guyana. Queen's college is also ranked as the most prestigious high school in the Caribbean. History. It was established in 1844 by Bishop William Piercy Austin as an Anglican grammar school for boys [1] and was aimed at educating the colonial elite. [2] .

(Sign-in required) Every year, Queen's College accepts the top performing students at the National Grade Six Assessment. These students enter Grade 7 and continue to Grade 11 after which they can reapply to enter into Sixth Form.
