Mary Kathryn Beck Briscoe (born April 4, 1947) is a senior United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit . Early life and education. Briscoe was born in Council Grove, Kansas, and grew up on a farm near that community.

Judge Briscoe received her commission on May 26, 1995 and served as Chief Circuit Judge from 2010 to 2015. She resides in Lawrence, Kansas, and is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law.
Mary Beck Briscoe is a federal judge on senior status with the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. She joined the court in 1995 after being nominated by President Bill Clinton. Briscoe assumed senior status on March 15, 2021.
