Édouard Jean-Baptiste, comte Milhaud (10 July 1766 – 10 December 1833) was a French politician and Général de Division. He distinguished himself throughout the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars and is considered one of the best generals of cavalry of Napoleon's army.

Maj. Gen. Count Edouard Jean Baptiste Milhaud’s IV Cavalry Corps was composed of two divisions of cuirassiers. These heavy cavalrymen wore crested helmets and armored breast- and backplates. Wielding heavy swords and mounted on fine, strong chargers, they had grasped victory from the jaws of defeat on a number of occasions.
