On 21 February 1722, she married the 2nd Earl of Albemarle at Caversham, Oxfordshire (now Berkshire), whereupon she became Countess of Albemarle. His father was a confidant of William of Orange and later was made first earl of Albemarle. William Anne Keppel succeeded to his father’s titles and estates in 1718.
