Criado por Haim Saban com a co-criação de Shuki Levy foram lançados em 1993, com Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, na Fox Kids por Margaret Loesch. Curiosamente, anos antes pela Marvel Productions, Loesch e Stan Lee detinham os direitos de adaptação de Toei. [ 9] .

The monthly Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series concluded in October 2020 after 55 issues. Two new series titled Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers launched in November featuring a new storyline, "Unlimited Power," with Parrott writing both.
The first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is the 1st overall season of Power Rangers, serving as an adaptation of the Super Sentai series Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. The season follows a group of "teenagers with atittude" recruited by Zordon to fight the awakening Rita Repulsa and her goons.
