Margaret Kerdeston Gaston de Foix (1448 – 25 March 1500), Earl of Kendal and Count of Benauges, was a French nobleman in the last decades of the Middle Ages. He was a cadet member of the important Foix family in Southern France.

Biography. Margaret (Cobold) Kerdeston was born in Norfolk, England. Margaret (Margery) Cobold married, as his third wife, Sir William de Kerdeston, 2nd Lord Kerdeston, son of Sir Roger de Kerdeston, 1st Lord Kerdeston, Sheriff of Norfolk & Suffolk, Governor of Norwich Castle and Maud Bateman, before 8 February 1342 [1] [2].

Biography. Anne was the daughter of Gaston of Foix, Count of Candale [1] and Infanta Catherine of Navarre. Her mother was the youngest daughter of Queen Eleanor of Navarre and Gaston IV, Count of Foix. Anne grew up at the French royal court at Blois. She was educated in Latin and the Classics.
