Sir George Paget Thomson, FRS (/ ˈ t ɒ m s ən /; 3 May 1892 – 10 September 1975) was a British physicist and Nobel laureate in physics recognized for his discovery of the wave properties of the electron by electron diffraction.

Nasceu em Cambridge, filho do físico laureado com o Nobel Joseph John Thomson e Rose Elisabeth Paget.
