Gustavo Antonio Gelpí Jr. (born December 11, 1965) is an American lawyer who serves as a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is a former chief United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.

Judge Gustavo A. Gelpí currently serves on the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, unanimously confirmed by the Senate in July 2006. Gelpí became chief judge of the District Court in 2018. Prior to this appointment, Gelpí served as a Magistrate Judge for the District of Puerto Rico from 2001 to 2006. Biography.
