Jamie began his career at Cynthia Spencer Hospice as a newly qualified staff nurse in 2014. Four years later he progressed to the role of Charge Nurse; and in 2023 transferred to Cransley Hospice in Kettering as Ward Matron where he continues in post. Jamie became a SAGE & THYME facilitator in 2023; a course he enjoys teaching.
The aims of this service are: To support rapid discharge from hospice for patients who would prefer to be at home in the last days of life. Crisis intervention to avoid inappropriate admission in the last days of life. This service operates seven days a week. Referrals are accepted between 9am and 5pm.
