The Witte Huis (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌʋɪtə ˈɦœys]) or White House is a building and National Heritage Site in Rotterdam, Netherlands, built in 1898 in the Art Nouveau style. The building is 43 m (141 ft) tall, with 10 floors. [1]

The Witte Huis (White House) in Rotterdam is an office building constructed between 1897 and 1898 by the architect W. Molenbroek, commissioned by the brothers Gerrit and Herman van der Schuijt. These individuals were two Rotterdam entrepreneurs.
Rotterdam. Dating from 1897–98, Europe's first 'skyscraper', the 11-storey, 45m-high Witte Huis, was designed by Willem Molenbroek in art-nouveau style using load-bearing brick walls rather than a steel skeleton. It's a rare survivor of the prewar period.
