  1. 15 de fev. de 2004 · Hello.I have started to learn proteus and i designed a avr based schematic .But the simulation speed is very very low(0.000001 second/step).How can i increment simulation speed?

  2. 11 de fev. de 2006 · speeding ADS hey, I'm doing a EM simulation of a PIFA with ADS, the overall size of the design is 110mmx25mm and the Er used is 2.2. it take more than 40min to do this (with a 2.2GHz 3GHz RAM), I know in IE3D it will take less time... can anyone help me speed up the simulation? (the mesh is 10...

  3. 9 de jan. de 2004 · High speed devices will start by connecting as a full speed device (1.5k to 3.3V). Once it has been attached, it will do a high speed chirp during reset and establish a high speed connection if the hub supports it. If the device operates in high speed mode, then the pull up resistor is removed to balance the line.

  4. 16 de out. de 2010 · I am doing a transient simulation for a sigma delta modulator and the simulation time required to complete is quite long. I have come across the "accelerated parallel simulation" option in cadence that could speed up the simulation but i am not aware of the process of setting up that option.

  5. 8 de ago. de 2008 · I am running simulation at 100 ps resolution for 5000 m sec but it take more than 30 hours to complete the simulation. Is there any way to speed up the Questasim simulation ?

  6. 20 de jul. de 2012 · @speed fault testting require 1 launch and 1 captur cyclee to be tested. For @stuckat, 1 capture cycle is often sufficient to detect a fault (unless there are nonscan elements to initialize, or using ram sequential patterns..). You can fault grade TF patterns into the SA universe, performing fault simulation, then topup with SA patterns.

  7. 3 de nov. de 2018 · I guess the signal speed in typical FR4 is something like 15 cm / ns (0.015 cm / ps). Is this speed is frequency dependent ? If yes, then how much is the speed of 500 MHz signal in typical FR4 ? Assuming typical speed in FR4 is 15 cm / ns (0.015 cm / ps), I am trying to calculate the time to travel 400 mil (1.016 cm).

  8. 20 de mar. de 2024 · If it is purely a DC motor it might work but controlling the speed will be unreliable unless you can add some feedback control system. If the fan has a built-in driver circuit (like PC cooling fans) it will already have some start-up and speed regulation built in to it so pulsing the power with PWM will confuse it. Brian.

  9. 9 de nov. de 2012 · With duty cycle of 60% (0.6), you get 60% power. With duty cycle of 100% (1), you get full power. So, this provides an efficient way of controlling the power to a load. So, if power to a motor is controlled like this, the motor's speed can be controlled. So, to control the speed of the DC motor, I have used PWM.

  10. 17 de ago. de 2010 · Again, as FvM said - change some values to speed it up & extrapolate the real results. You cannot make the maximum time step very long if something happens occasionally but with high speed. At best the results will be innacurate, at worst it could miss the event completely. Pspice doesn't compensate for aliasing.
