13 de set. de 2024 · Hello, I am playing Minecraft on my Xbox series s, version 1.21.23. (I apologize in advance if this reads funny, I'm using voice to text to write this) I have been using the “Fungi Creature” classic skin from Battle & Beasts 2 for years, and just recently it has stopped working.
I would play Minecraft classic but it just wasn't the same. I would just pirate the game and play on servers that worked with pirated copies of the game. I to this day have Minecraft on Ps4, Xbox one and Xbox 360 (separate purchases on separate accounts), windows 10 Minecraft (from the Xbox version) and even though phone and I to this day have yet to purchase the "real" Minecraft.
Pre-release Minecraft lasted 2009 to 2011, and "new'" Minecraft lasted 2012 to 2019, which gives Classic MC a lifespan of 2 years, and New MC a lifespan of 7 years at this point. For some reason though, it feels as if New MC has only been existed for a couple years, while old MC lasted like 5 years. No idea why my brain feels that way.
7 de ago. de 2021 · I don't really know much about each version of the old beta/alpha versions as I started in Minecraft 1.2.5, so I'd love for some suggestions. I'd prefer if the version wasn't too barebones, but still needs to have that Classic old Minecraft look and feeling. Thanks for the help!
7 de dez. de 2020 · Oh, yeah, and it had leaves and cobble and stone, and dirt, and grass, and roses, and human mobs, (spawnable with 'G', and were Minecraft's first mob) and some other stuff. That's a lot of stuff, but not nearly as much as Minecraft today. Hope you liked this summary of Minecraft Classic, and stay safe, everyone. Minecraft Website - Minecraft.net
I grew up playing the Xbox 360 edition so I tend to swap between Beta 1.7.3 and Release 1.2.5. Beta 1.7.3 because its the last version with the old terrain generation and without hunger for that true old school experience.
9 de mai. de 2019 · Sorry I was trying to do my research to check why minecraft classic multiplyer wasn't working my multiplayer, till then I came across your post & decided to reply even though it was five months ago. I hope that tried to clear up stuff. I'm not really that active on reddit (even though I joined this year)
11 de fev. de 2017 · Went to the "Old Launcher" link and downloaded the second "Windows" link - the old Minecraft exe - onto the desktop. That works fine. The first link didn't work for me as the exe simply runs the launcher which has the same issue.
For a while, Classic was nicely kept and maintained however in the last years it has fallen to decay. Project Omega aims to restore Minecraft Classic to its former glory by re-adding level saving and loading, fixing sound and even making a modern multiplayer client that is not dependent on login servers or heartbeats and serverlists that could go offline at any moment.
