  2. The Stephen Perse Foundation is a family of private schools in Cambridge and Saffron Walden for students aged 1 to 18. The Foundation is made up of: - 3 nurseries (2 in Cambridge and 1 in Saffron Walden, Essex) for ages 1–5.

  3. We encourage children to be active learners – to ask questions, to make mistakes and to explore their interests and talents. By combining academic rigour with creative, flexible teaching we see our pupils grow as independent learners. We pride ourselves on an approach which is motivational, innovative, inspiring and highly creative.

  4. From the Perse School for Girls we have evolved to become the Stephen Perse Foundation. In more recent years we have grown, and we now provide a complete educational pathway for boys and girls from age 1 to 18.

  5. We group our subjects together into six curriculum areas. We teach subjects in an integrated way, because the future belongs to those who can think way beyond narrow subject boundaries. Education is not just about imparting knowledge. It’s about teaching young people how to think for themselves: critically, creatively and collaboratively.
