Sergei Iosifovich Yutkevich (Russian: Серге́й Ио́сифович Ютке́вич, 28 December 1904 – 23 April 1985) was a Soviet film director and screenwriter. He was a People's Artist of the USSR (1962) and a Hero of Socialist Labour (1974).

Sergei Yutkevich. 1904-1985. First recorded as a precocious teenager in Kharkov, studying at the Steinberg art studio – where attention focused on Gauguin, Van Gogh and Cézanne – and meeting Velimir Khlebnikov. He then moved to Kiev, where Exter and Adolf Milman (a former member of the Jack Of Diamonds) fostered his interest in Cubism.
