Theater's History Saratov Academic Youth Theater named after Yu.P. Kiselev (TUZ Kiseleva) is a unique phenomenon in Russian culture. It is the world’s first theater for children opened on October 4, 1918. From 1943 to 1996 USSR People’s actor, laureate of the various Russian and International awards Yury Petrovich Kiselev led the theater.

Saratov Drama Theater (Russian: Саратовский академический театр драмы имени И. А. Слонова) is located in the city of Saratov, Russia. It is one of the oldest theaters in Russia.
