30 de out. de 2022 · Mike Flanagan has made such shows as: The Haunting of Hill House/Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, Midnight Club. Ryan Murphy has made shows like: American Horror Story/Stories, Dahmer and The Watcher. I prefer Flanagan's. Flanagan's story telling is second to none, in my opinion regardless of genre. If horror wasn't such a niche system that could be ...
7 de nov. de 2022 · He better not touch that, Monster (2003) is better than anything Ryan Murphy has ever or will ever make and is an example of how you handle complex subject material like this without glorifying it. Edit: people are replying irked by my use of the word glorify, quite right it's probably the wrong word for this.

Dahmer did something similar, with how the black community was largely ignored during Dahmer’s murders. His Versace show looks at issues relating to the gay community in the 90’s.
4 de jun. de 2020 · Common denominator in Ryan Murphy shows :: LGBTQ themes. So I have followed enough Ryan Murphy shows (not all though) to realize there are some common patterns in each of his shows. 6 de jul. de 2023 · Personally, I put him at #1. If you have a Ryan Murphy show under your belt it looks really good though. He is toxic, expects everyone to work their life away etc. But damn you make a butt load of money in overtime. To put it simply; do it once for the experience and everyone you interview with from their will say "Oh, you worked with Ryan Murphy?"
Seasons like double feature and etc, critic ratings going down, this new season (although promising, does not seem at all like AHS material), etc. Yet, Ryan Murphy still maintains his geniality. We saw what he can still do through Dahmer (a masterpiece). Although, it seems like he’s ruining his work in AHS on purpose.
