  1. Once I dedicated the appropriate time and attention a few months later and wham, I saw the genius in this movie. I now can't get enough of it and watch at least once scene a day and probably the entire movie at least once a week while I am working on office stuff. Perfect movie to help the time go by.

  2. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is wish fulfillment. In this respect, I think that people like it in the same way that they like Midnight in Paris. But it's also very subtle. (For Tarantino, I mean.) Other than Checkov's flamethrower, the movie is a low key character study, which imagines that post 1970's Hollywood never occurred.

  3. once upon a time in hollywood is a steaming pile of absolute dogshit. I've never seen such a boring, pointless, self-important movie in my life. There is no drama, no story, no tension, nothing. Nothing. It's terrible. Feel validated people out there who also dislike this shit movie, when critics try to gaslight us with "positive reviews."

  4. 17 de abr. de 2020 · Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is a boring, turgid piece of shit. 1/ It feels like 20% of the movie is shots of cars pulling up. 2/ It ambling and aimless, without any of those wonderfully comically mundane Tarantino moments. 3/ The last 20 minutes are just dumb and gratuitous 4/ Foot fetish stuff has passed meta and is now just embarrassing 5/ Another Inglorious Basterds ending

  5. The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Subreddit, dedicated to watching, talking about and then rewatching The 9th Film by Quentin Tarantino starring Margot Robbie, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. A fan since the days of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction it was dumb luck that I found myself working for half a decade at the Musso & Frank’s, the restaurant that opens the film; including prior to and ...

  6. 29 de jul. de 2019 · I think the heaven motif is correct. Instead of the hell that we got in real life when those people were murdered, the Tarantino-verse gets a comparatively tame conclusion that will be remembered as the time that B list actor was forced to kill some hippies that broke into his house and maybe the dream of the sixties would continue into the seventies and the world would be completely different.

  7. 4 de set. de 2021 · I felt the same way after Hateful 8 as I did after Once Upon A Time. I walked out of the theater thinking “wow that was great acting and great film making, but why?”. I love Tarantino but I’ll never watch those films again like I do his others because they don’t really say or do anything.

  8. 11 de dez. de 2019 · The Manson murders are supposed to be the mark of the end of a supposedly great time in America but what if two guys , a character actor and his stunt double/ best friend, unknowingly stopped that from happening . Dont get it twisted though, there are metaphors and little messages about that time and our time now sprinkled throughout the movie .

  9. 2 de dez. de 2019 · When Jim Stacey in his cowboy attire and red shirt comes to meet devastated Rick Dalton on the set for the first time, he comes towards him and takes off his hat as he greets Rick. Then there is a glitch cut, the hat is back on the Jim's head as the scene continues.

  10. 14 de jul. de 2020 · Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 4K Blu Ray looks worse than it's digital copy? I've looked at OUATIH's 4K HDR Blu Ray release multiple times now, and compared to it's 4K Digital Copy (redeemed through the GoogleStore), it looks poor.
