I have no doubt that Doug will make the position of First Gent a far more prominent and interesting position than a woman has ever been permitted before. And thus create a precedent for all who follow, of either sex.

On social media, they keep referring to it as “nannygate” and “the Dems always have a nannygate again” referring to Clinton’s SCOTUS nomination of Judge Kimba Wood in the ‘90s, of all things. That seems quaint compared to this current SCOTUS lineup.
