William Goldsmith (born July 4, 1972) is an American drummer best known as a member of Sunny Day Real Estate and former member of Foo Fighters. Currently drumming for Assertion, he has toured with Mike Watt and IQU, performed on many recordings, and played live with several bands and artists.

23 de mai. de 2021 · William Goldsmith was the original drummer of Foo Fighters, but he left the band in 1997 after feeling that his work was replaced by Dave Grohl. He accused Grohl of being a "playground bully" and a "bad person", while Grohl denied firing him and said he quit due to a breakdown.
