Before November 1469, William Boleyn married Margaret Butler (d. 1539/1540), the second daughter and co-heiress of Thomas Butler, 7th Earl of Ormond (d. 1515) by his first wife Anne Hankford. [10] . As part of her marriage settlement she brought the manor of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire to her husband. [24] .
