8 de mai. de 2024 · Inside you can see monuments to Sir Baptist Hicks and William Grevel, as well as medieval altar hangings and a cope (a type of cloak worn by a priest) from c.1400. And each May the church hosts the Chipping Campden Music Festival, featuring musicians from around the world.

7 de mai. de 2024 · St Mary’s Church. St Mary’s Church is tucked away in a quiet location just outside the village centre. The church dates back to the late 11th century and was built of local golden limestone with a slate roof. You can see a Saxon stone slab incorporated into the North Wall as well as some Saxon gravestones.

Willow sculptures of the Queen’s beloved dogs Beth and Bluebell are to make an appearance at the Chelsea Flower Show this year when the Highgrove Gardens shop features for the first time. The display will be created by weaver Emma Stothard in honour of the terriers Camilla adopted from the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
Há 4 dias · Our convoy headed towards Highgrove and once past security, glimpses of the delights to come could be seen as we headed up the gravelled drive. We all gathered in reception to have our i.d’s checked, before being formally welcomed. To the dismay of some, we were reminded that no photos were allowed in the gardens.
