The 2019 W Series was the inaugural motor racing season of the W Series, an all-female Formula Regional -level racing series. [1] Driver selection. 55 drivers were initially entered in a qualifying longlist for the 2019 season, with a further six added later on.

[1] It was held over a total of three seasons in 2019 , 2021 and 2022 before the championship fell into administration and later liquidated , with a planned season in 2020 cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
