19 de abr. de 2024 · Was the book an attempt by a feminist biographer to subtly “cancel” Elisabeth Elliot? I reached out to Valerie Elliot Shepherd weeks ago and asked her thoughts but did not get a reply. At best I felt the book was not complimentary and I don’t understand why the journal excerpts were chosen as they were.

25 de abr. de 2024 · I grew up hearing the story of Elisabeth Elliot and her great empowerment of Christian women. However, I remember hearing her once answer a question on her radio show to a woman who asked a question about what to do since her husband physically abused her. Elisabeth’s response stunned me. She told the woman to stay and submit to her husband.
