The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze at Van Cortlandt Manor is a must-see sight if you’re going to be in upstate New York in October; the event runs from mid-September to mid-October. The manor is filled with 7,000 illuminated jack-o’ lanterns that are hand-carved by the on-site artists.
