The Library of Trinity College Dublin (Irish: Leabharlann Choláiste na Tríonóide) serves Trinity College. It is a legal deposit or "copyright library", under which, publishers in Ireland must deposit a copy of all their publications there, without charge. It is the only Irish library to hold such rights for works published in the United Kingdom.

Located in the heart of Dublin City, a walk through the cobbled stones of Trinity College Dublin will bring visitors back to the 18th century, when the magnificent Old Library building was constructed. Inside is housed the Book of Kells - a 9th-century gospel manuscript famous throughout the world.

6 de out. de 2020 · COVID update On lockdown in March, the Library accelerated online access to material and increased e-resources. Since June, the Library has reopened all the buildings in phases and has created several new services from scratch.
With its five million printed volumes, as well as vast collections of manuscripts, journals, music and maps, the Library of Trinity College Dublin is now the largest in the country. Its most famous treasures in manuscript form, the Book of Kells and the Book of Durrow, attract hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, from all over the world.
