26 de jan. de 2022 · Tim Hudson did not receive the push he was looking for in his second year of eligibility for the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The former A’s right-hander was knocked off the ballot completely after results of the voting by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America were announced on MLB.
Hudson is one of 21 pitchers in Major League history to win at least 200 games, strike out at least 2,000 batters and have a winning percentage above .600. Of those 21, 14 are in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

31 de dez. de 2021 · The Hall of Fame Case for and Against Tim Hudson. In Tim Hudson’s nine seasons in Atlanta, he only had one campaign (in 2010) in which he made the All-Star team and received any Cy Young consideration. In his final two seasons (in San Francisco) he went 17-22 with a 3.91 ERA.

13 de jan. de 2022 · Tim Hudson is on the Baseball Hall of Fame ballot for the second year, this year. Like last year when he received 5.2-percent of the vote, it will be a close-call to see if he will get the 5-percent of the vote needed to stay on the writer’s ballot again next season.
