13 de abr. de 2010 · Didn't bother to input because, as a speaker of B.E. (funny how its called British English when perhaps Commonwealth English would be more accurate?)I agree that, to us, the "I've" form sounds more natural.
28 de jun. de 2012 · I think that either case is correct, but, at least in spoken AE, I think it is slightly more common to say "I understand."
