The London Eye is situated on the South Bank of the River Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament. The ticket office is located inside County Hall, which is the building directly next to the London Eye.
At 135m, The London Eye is the world’s largest cantilevered observation wheel. It was conceived and designed by Marks Barfield Architects and was launched in 2000. It has won over 85 awards for national and international tourism, outstanding architectural quality and engineering achievement.

The London Eye is open daily except for Christmas Day (25th December) and during our annual maintenance period. The first rotation time is as listed on our opening hours for your specific visit date. Closing times below refer to the time of the last rotation.
