The Slithering Eels is a Hardmode spell tome that is dropped by Acid Eels after defeating the Aquatic Scourge. When used, it fires slithering acid eels that roughly follow the cursor around, trailing acid droplets up to five times before it disappears.

The Slithering Eels is a very powerful weapon that follows your cursor, making it relatively easy to use. The Ion Blaster is a very powerful choice throughout the whole fight due to its high fire rate and damage but be aware its damage will decrease as your mana decreases.
If the player has already defeated the Aquatic Scourge, Slithering Eels is an extremely powerful option for The Twins. The Serpentine is another powerful option, if no other bosses have been defeated before The Twins, that acts similarly to the Slithering Eels .
I tried to kill the aquatic scourge to get slithering eels to help with destroyer, but I've only gotten really close before its spam projectiles ended that. Giant clam also kicked my butt so no poseiden.... So, I got ONE out of four suspicious scrap for the special gun SHPC.
