More simply put, populism supports the advancement of "the average citizen", not the agendas of the privileged elite. Greven defines right-wing populists as those who support ethnocentrism, and oppose immigration.

  6. Seems to me that the definition of the word changed at some point because those are leftists that are being called anarchists. The definition hasn't changed, but that doesn't prevent the word from being misused. Someone practicing anarchic or chaotic behavior isn't truly a political anarchist.
