Renzo Piano. Chairman. Founding Partner. Architect DPLG based at Paris Office. Renzo Piano was born in Genoa in 1937 into a family of builders. While studying at Politecnico of Milan University, he worked in the office of Franco Albini.
The Renzo Piano Building Workshop RPBW was established by Renzo Piano 1981 with offices in Genoa, Italy and Paris, France. RPBW is led by 12 partners, including Pritzker Prize Laureate, architect Renzo Piano.

Renzo Piano. Perched on the slopes of a hill above the sea, Punta Nave houses the Genova headquarters of the Renzo Piano Building Workshop. Composed of a system of glass terraces gradually sloping towards the sea, the building recalls the shapes of the greenhouses typical of the Ligurian coastline.
Renzo Piano is the famous architecture born in Genova in 1937, whose fame became international after some functional and futuristic projects. He studied at Politecnico in Milan and at the University of Florence, where he had the chance to study what would have become his job afterward.

While studying at Politecnico of Milan University, he worked in the office of Franco Albini. In 1971, he set up the Piano & Rogers office in London together with Richard Rogers RA, with whom he won the competition for the Centre Pompidou.
