2 de abr. de 2017 · Click “More apps”. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click “Look for another app on this PC”. Browse to your Unreal Engine installation and locate “\Engine\Binaries\Win64\UE4Editor.exe”. Select UE4Editor.exe and click “Open”. The editor will now open the project, and any .uproject you open in the future. 4 Likes.

8 de fev. de 2018 · Then I closed the project. Then I opened the workspace and readded all the code I wanted. Made sure there were no errors. Then closed the project. Now delete the intermediate and binary files. Then I right clicked on my uproject file → Generate Visual Studio project files. Try and open the game now (not through your workspace)

29 de ago. de 2022 · I removed the ‘Saved’ and ‘Intermediate’ files, and I was still getting the same crash report, but when I removed the ‘defaultengine.ini’ I was able to open the project, but it wasn’t the project I was working on, it was a terrain made up of tiles with mountains in the distance in all directions.

19 de set. de 2022 · This was happening to me too. I was able to fix it by closing the Epic Games Launcher, (I also did End Task on EpicGamesLauncher in Task Manager under Background Processes) making the .ini file Read-only from its properties and then opening the Epic Games Launcher.
22 de out. de 2016 · The Unreal Enngine project files are plain text files. I guess that was the case for the earliest version of UE4 also (not 100% sure, though). Try to open the *.uproject file for you project in a text editor and the version number should be in there.
2 de mai. de 2024 · I am having the exact same problem. I cannot create a 5.4.0 or 5.4.1 project. The project creation gets about 50 percent and then aborts or crashes my machine. Machine specs: CPU 13th Gen Intel (R) Core™ i9-13900KF 3.00 GHz. Motherboard Z790 Aorus Elite AX. DDR5 RAM with 64.0 GB installed. GPU NVIDA GeForce RTX 4070.
