Trivia. According to the game's creator, Matthew Phoenix Rodriguez, the Shades' appearances are based off of Creepypasta characters. Photo-Negative Minnie's Shade is based off of the Creepypasta Jeff The Killer. Photo-Negative Mickey's Shade is based off of himself, hence the fact that he is a Creepypasta character.
