New Model Army are an English rock band formed in Bradford, West Yorkshire, in 1980 by lead vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter Justin Sullivan, bassist Stuart Morrow and drummer Phil Tompkins. Sullivan has been the only continuous member of the band, which has seen numerous line-up changes in its four-decade history.

New Model Army é uma banda de rock inglesa, formada na cidade de Bradford, em West Yorkshire, em 1980. O grupo faz parte originalmente do movimento pós-punk inglês, passando depois para a corrente alternativa do rock. Seus sucessos em destaque estão as canções "51st state", "Purity", "White Coats" entre outros.
O chamado Exército de Novo Tipo (New Model Army) era uma inovação na organização das tropas em relação aos exércitos feudais.
