Teaching staff receive 11 weeks annual leave. Management have an annual leave entitlement of 35 days. Minimum of 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 days after 5 years for Business Support staff. Plus all recognised Public Holidays. Also an additional 5 College Efficiency days over the Christmas break without using your annual holiday entitlement.
New College Swindon hosted a launch for the brand-new Animal Management Centre in October 2023. Level 3 Animal Management students, alongside experts at Zoofab have been building more outside enclosures. These include a lorikeet aviary, raccoon haven and prairie dog den.
Our Queens Drive Campus is on New College Drive in Swindon. The campus has a wide range of facilities including a Sports Centre, 3G pitch, dance studios, Phoenix Theatre, art studios, STEM facilities and recording studios. The dedicated T Level hub has outstanding facilities including a simulation hospital ward, mock nursery and birthing room.
27 de mar. de 2024 · The Animal Management Centre at New College Swindon will soon be welcoming new species, such as rainbow lorikeets, prairie dogs and raccoons. These new friends will open up even more employment opportunities for our students as they will be able to practice new training techniques, enrichment, feeding and enclosure maintenance.
