Founded in 1379 by Bishop William of Wykeham in conjunction with Winchester College as New College's feeder school, New College was one of the first colleges in the university to admit and tutor undergraduate students.
New College is one of the largest and most architecturally striking colleges, with beautiful gardens and a variety of excellent facilities. Located in central Oxford, New College is a supportive community and provides an environment which allows students from all backgrounds to flourish both socially and academically.

We welcome groups subject to a maximum of 20 people; larger groups may split (and will require a guide/leader in each group). New College welcomes everyone and we want our disabled visitors to have a great experience with us. We offer free entry to companions or carers of disabled visitors. The disabled guests pays the reduced concession admission fee upon entry (carer/companion free).
New College is a place of study all year round. Please therefore do not enter staircases, college rooms, or areas marked as private. The Cloisters, Hall, Chapel and Gardens are fully accessible (access to the hall is via a lift) but please be aware that our grounds have uneven surfaces.
