Brand became well known as a villain when he killed the character played by Elvis Presley in his debut film Love Me Tender (1956). He was in The Way to the Gold (1957), The Lonely Man (1957), The Tin Star (1957), Cry Terror!
5 de mar. de 2005 · Neville Brand played Mike Gavin, the man who shot and killed Elvis' character. Brand had joined the Army in 1939, intending to make it his career, and became the fourth most decorated GI in World War II.
He played Al Capone in The George Raft Story (1961) , The Scarface Mob (1959) , and TV's The Untouchables (1959) . Among his other memorable roles are the sympathetic guard in Birdman of Alcatraz (1962) and the representative of rioting convicts in Riot in Cell Block 11 (1954) .
