5 de out. de 2018 · But what really makes it better is that he manages to connect the myths in a sequential manner that makes a lot of sense. One myth has a causal effect on leading to another. Some of it retools some stuff (like all retellings do), but that's perfectly fine since the essence of myths are retained.

27 de nov. de 2021 · Stephen Fry was a guest on a Scandinavian talk show a few days ago to talk about a number of things (the full video's worth a watch), and at one point the interviewer asks him about living in "strict times", relative to changing morals (he clearly means "cancel culture", or at least the idea of progressive "moral guardians" and policing of speech).

24 de jul. de 2024 · Haha, there is a joke about this in one of the older episodes of the British comedy panel/quiz show Quite Interesting (featuring Stephen Fry). Stephen tells a story how his 90+ year old grandmother would shout at the breakfast table "Surely it can't be breakfast again!" I laugh every time.
1 de jun. de 2024 · Still, cool lightsaber battles. Cool looking Jedi from before the OT. Nothing too dumb, which is a relief for a Star Wars show. And Manny was awesomely menacing at times (and way too sympathetic at others). And Sol was awesome and conflicted (despite the weird way the conflict was set up). Last edited: 10 minutes ago.
