The Los Rios Community College District is the second-largest community college district in California. Our colleges are American River College, Cosumnes River College, Folsom Lake College, and Sacramento City College. We also have six education centers and specialized workforce and economic development programs for local businesses, governments, and organizations.
Asynchronous – Online, Any Time. Asynchronous online classes are available any time, 24/7 via Canvas. Regular and substantive interactions with the instructor and other students will take place through online discussions, group assignments, email, and other means. Los Rios Community College Unit Coursework Stipends. Educators may earn stipends of up to $125 per unit to learn English as a Second Language (ESL); acquire, upgrade, or maintain their Child Development Permit; complete TK requirements; or earn an associate degree in early childhood.
The Los Rios colleges offer courses and academic programs (certificates and degrees) in many fields of study.
