Windsor Castle is a royal residence at Windsor in the English county of Berkshire. It is strongly associated with the English and succeeding British royal family, and embodies almost a millennium of architectural history . A capela

Royal Lodge is a house in Windsor Great Park, half a mile north of Cumberland Lodge and 3 miles (4.8 km) south of Windsor Castle in Berkshire. It was the Windsor residence of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother from 1952 until her death there in 2002. Since 2004 it has been the official residence of Prince Andrew, Duke of York .
The family moved in during the Summer of 1778. The Prince of Wales was given quarters in the castle itself. King George ended up spending £70,000 on the project and declared that, had he realised the expense, he would have restored the castle instead. The Royals lived at the Queen's Lodge for over a quarter of a century.
