  1. 7 de mar. de 2022 · How to Perform a Kruskal-Wallis Test in SAS. by Zach Bobbitt March 7, 2022. A Kruskal-Wallis Test is used to determine whether or not there is a statistically significant difference between the medians of three or more independent groups. It is considered to be the non-parametric equivalent of the One-Way ANOVA.

  3. Like the multisample analysis, PROC NPAR1WAY computes a one-way ANOVA statistic, which for Wilcoxon scores is known as the Kruskal-Wallis test. All these p -values show no difference in Gain for the two Dose levels at the 0.05 level of significance.

  4. Kruskal-Wallis test. The statistic equals 52.6656, with four degrees of freedom, which is the number of class levels minus one. The p-value (probability of a larger statistic under the null hypothesis) is <0.0001. This leads to rejection of the null hypothesis that there is no difference in location for Gain among the levels of Dose.

  6. Output and interpretation. The Kruskal-Wallis test. Kruskal-Wallis test can be considered as a backup method for ANOVA where the independent variable is categorical but the dependent variable are not normally distributed.

  7. 19 de nov. de 2020 · To do a KruskalWallis test in SAS, use the NPAR1WAY procedure (that's the numeral "one," not the letter "el," in NPAR1WAY). WILCOXON tells the procedure to only do the KruskalWallis test; if you leave that out, you'll get several other statistical tests as well, tempting you to pick the one whose results you like the best.
