16 de abr. de 2018 · John Keats died in Rome aged twenty-five on February 23rd, 1821 and is buried at the Cemitero Acattolico—the so-called Protestant Cemetery in Rome (1). Two years later, in the early spring of 1823 his gravestone with epitaph was finally laid at his burial site.

The grave of the English poet John Keats is one of the most famous burials in the Protestant Cemetery in Rome. It was erected by Keats' friends Charles Armitage Brown and Joseph Severn who, by request of Keats himself, left no name on the tombstone.
