21 de abr. de 2024 · Todos os anos, por volta de 27 de janeiro, a UNESCO presta homenagem à memória das vítimas do Holocausto e reafirma seu compromisso inabalável de combater o antissemitismo, o racismo e outras formas de intolerância que podem levar à violência contra grupos específicos.

Friday, January 27 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The occasion provides an opportunity to reflect on one of the defining events of the 20th century and beyond. The wide range of rich literature set during the Holocaust allows for many ways of teaching difficult subjects like war, fascism, prejudice, and genocide.

Every year around 27 January, UNESCO pays tribute to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and reaffirms its unwavering commitment to counter antisemitism, racism, and other forms of intolerance that may lead to group-targeted violence.
