17 de nov. de 2022 · Balian Beach is a hidden gem in southwest Tabanan, Bali. It’s about 60km west of Kuta and Ubud. The 1.5-hour drive can take over 2.5 hours thanks to the notorious traffic on the island. You can either get a taxi or ride a scooter to Balian Beach.
This is the perfect beach for surfers and sunbathers who are looking for a complete break from the hustle and bustle of south Bali. Balian beach on the west coast of Bali is a 90 min drive from the airport and located right at the mouth of the Balian River.

Balian Beach is on the West Coast of Bali. It is a relatively quiet village with lots of accommodation and restaurants but without the noise and partying of Kuta, Legian etc. The beach is less than pristine but evidently the surf is brilliant.

Balian Beach lies on the west coast of Bali, just off the busy road connecting southern Bali with the ferry to Java. Likely the least pleasant part of your journey will be enduring the nail biting experience of sharing the road with the plethora of large trucks making the long trek from/to Jakarta.
