2 de set. de 2022 · Olá a todos, eu baixei o WhatsApp pela Microsoft Store no meu notebook com Windows 11, mas por algum motivo o ícone dele não foi para a minha área de trabalho (Desktop). Quando eu pesquiso o WhatsApp na barra de pesquisas, tem as opções de 'Fixar em Iniciar' ou 'Fixar na barra de tarefas', mas não há a opção de criar um atalho (ícone) na área de trabalho.

4 de jan. de 2023 · Thanks, that was interesting. I'll bookmark that for future reference. Sadly, neither lists WhatsApp, even though the icon is on the Start Menu. Clicking on this took me to the Store - odd... - where I see a Library of Updates and Downloads! Anyway, from here I was able to pin it to the Taskbar from where I can launch it.
EDIT: It's launching now! I didn't do anything but thanks to all those who reached out to WhatsApp and made the thread popular. I've tried to fix this problem twice but it doesn't go away. Every time I double click the whatsapp desktop shortcut, the cursor loads for a second, then nothing happens. Whatsapp does not launch.

Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the WhatsApp Desktop shortcut, go to Properties, and under the Compatibility tab, try running it in compatibility mode for Windows 10.
10 de nov. de 2020 · Today the WhatsApp icon suddenly disappeared again and on the task bar it seems as WhatsApp would update itself, but nothing happens with the white bar either (no update process seems to take place (as you see in profile pic))

13 de abr. de 2023 · The icon on the desktop is GREY, that's disgusting!!! I use the other method to download directly from Whatsapp Homepage, still in GREY!! When I download from MS store, it just won't load the QR code, so confused!! I tried to find different solution, just won't work!! Guess that Whatsapp & MS is just keeping their users away!!
2 de jun. de 2023 · Cannot drag the app to the desktop to create a shortcut. Also cannot drag the app from the start menu to the roaming startup folder too. Please help. I have a PC and a laptop both are on Windows 11.
