Iain Alan Sutherland Glen (born 24 June 1961) is a Scottish actor. He stars in HBO's Game of Thrones as Ser Jorah Mormont. He was announced in the role on 20 August 2009. He was part of the initial starring cast and remains a member of the starring cast for the second season.
Iain Alan Sutherland Glen (born 24 June 1961) is a Scottish actor. He has appeared as Dr. Alexander Isaacs/Tyrant in three films of the Resident Evil film series (2004–2016) and as Jorah Mormont in the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019).
It was announced in 2009 that Glen would star as Ser Jorah Mormont in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Glen has appeared in all seasons (1-VIII) and the show has gone on to win more Emmys than any prime time TV show in the history of the awards.
