Politicamente, se caracterizavam, até o século XVIII, por um sistema feudal de famílias — os famosos clãs escoceses. Atualmente, seu centro administrativo é Inverness.
- Edimburgo – 3 dias. Edimburgo é minha cidade favorita no Reino Unido, cheia de vida, arquitetura fantástica, comida boa e muita coisa legal para ver. Neste artigo roteiro e o que fazer em Edimburgo há muitas dicas, super completinho pra te ajudar na viagem.
- Stirling – 1 dia. Na saída de Edimburgo, recomendo passar na área chamada Queensferry para ver a Fort Bridge, uma das pontes mais icônicas da Escócia. Além disso, é um lugar super fofinho com casinhas coloridas para tirar fotos.
- Cairngorms até Inverness – 1 dia. Apesar do nome difícil, Cairngorms é um parque muito bonito, repleto de montanhas e pântanos que garantem paisagens bem diferentes chamada de “habitat alpino semi tundra pantanosa”.
