It works to control the spread of infectious diseases, prepares and responds to public health threats, builds strong communities, provides access to health care, monitors the environment, regulates health care providers, and more.
Integrated Health Services. The department supports countries in moving their health systems towards universal health coverage, through equitable access to quality health services that are integrated, safe and people-centred across the care continuum.
