Felix Adler (January 22, 1884 – March 25, 1963) was an American comedy film screenwriter whose career spanned over 30 years. He is best known for his work with the Three Stooges, including their 1934 short Men in Black, which received an Academy Award nomination for "Best Short Subject - Comedy".

Writer Felix Adler created a wide range of clever scenarios for Stooge comedy. In Tricky Dicks he utilizes unity of time and space in a ‘box comedy of narrative format’. The Boys tackle a mystery without ever leaving their office. Adler first developed bringing the plot to one location in Three Loan Wolves and Sing A Song of Six Pants.

But the evil magician Mergatroyd arranges for her to be kidnapped, so he can marry her himself and become King, and it's up to the Stooges to save the day!
The short’s story was by Felix Adler and directed by Raymond McCarey who would also direct The Boys next short, Three Little Pigskins again collaborating with writer Felix Adler. As we mentioned, Phyllis Crane was also in Three Little Pigskins with another up-and-coming actress you may recognize by the name of Lucille Ball.
