Eton College (/ ˈ iː t ən / ⓘ) is a public school (fee-charging and boarding for secondary school age boys) in Eton, Berkshire, England. It was founded in 1440 by Henry VI under the name Kynge's College of Our Ladye of Eton besyde Windesore , [4] [5] making it the 18th-oldest school in the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference (HMC).

For 2026 entry a boy needs to be registered by 30 June 2023. These are strict deadlines unless a boy is specifically applying for the King’s Scholarship or Music Awards, for which eligible boys can apply in UK School Year 8 up to the age of 13.
School Fees & Extras. The school fee includes tuition, board, lodging, and the cost of most games activities and the majority of educational materials. In addition, boys incur variable extras, e.g. charges for music lessons, optional insurances, boat club membership and school trips.
We will shortlist boys to be invited to Eton for an assessment in November or December. Admission to Eton at age 16 is possible for a small number of candidates, either through the Orwell Award (for boys in UK state schools) or Sixth Form entry (fee-paying).
